Europump will provide a reactive service to maintain the fuel dispensers, Jigsaw fuel management systems and tank gauges as well as an annual preventative maintenance visit at each site.
Mick Forbes, engineering director at Stagecoach, said: “Our main priority is to keep our bus schedules running on time so a quick response from any service provider is very important to ensure any potential fuelling equipment downtime is kept to an absolute minimum.”
Europump has also installed a new Jigsaw Eclipse 2 terminal at Stagecoach’s depot inLong Sutton, Lincolnshire.
Jigsaw developed a tailor-made server interface with Stagecoach’s on-board tracking system provider GreenRoad so the bus operator can automatically collect mileage data at every refuelling. This completely eliminates the need for any additional equipment to be fitted to each vehicle.
