Europump has installed the Jigsaw Fuel Management system at seven depots for a major bus company.
The system has been integrated with the GreenRoad Telematics system so that fleet mileages are automatically gathered during fuelling.
Pete Marsh, Managing Director at Jigsaw, said: “We have written a real-time interface to the GreenRoad servers in Israel so that we can request the current mileage of the vehicle at the moment the fuelling event hits our server.
“As far as the driver/fueller is concerned, this avoids the need to input the vehicle’s mileage at the fuel island, improving accuracy and speeding up the fuelling process.
“As the fuelling finishes on site, the fuelling event is sent to our server, we request the mileage from the GreenRoad server and paste it in to the fuelling data – all in less than a second!”
